MEET
Mary Jackson, RAc
Mary is passionate about Acupuncture and believes it can help facilitate healthy living in everyone. Her goal as a practitioner is to help her patients find balance in body and mind by actively listening and creating a safe place, to ease physical and emotional pain. Her Acupuncture treatments are individualized to each patient and may include other modalities like Tui Na massage, Gua Sha, Cupping and Auricular depending on the patient’s presenting symptoms.
GET TO KNOW MARY
Mary was born in Goose Bay, Labrador and grew up in Creemore, Ontario. Her and her husband moved to Barrie twelve years ago and started their family. Growing up, Mary enjoyed many recreational sports, and she believes sports have such a positive impact on children and their communities.
Outside of work, you can find Mary camping with her family, kayaking, playing sports with her children or volunteering in her community. Mary considers herself a lifelong learner and is continually learning new skills both personally and professionally. Mary believes it is important to maintain a good self-care routine to maintain balance in her life, not only for herself but for her children and patients. She is passionate about her daily self-care routine and as a practitioner encourages her patients to take time for themselves as well.
